Romantic Love Waterfall (Thac Tinh Yeu) & Forest Walk

Discover the enchanting Love Waterfall (Thác Tình Yêu), a beautiful cascade nestled within the lush greenery of Hoang Lien National Park, near the entrance to Tram Ton Pass. More secluded than the roadside Silver Waterfall, Love Waterfall offers a more immersive nature experience. Its name originates from a romantic local legend about a forbidden love between a heavenly fairy, mesmerized by a celestial boy's flute playing near the fall, adding a touch of folklore to its natural beauty.

Reaching Love Waterfall involves a pleasant and scenic walk or gentle hike of approximately 1.5 kilometers from the entrance point off the main road. The well-maintained trail meanders through beautiful, dense forest alongside a picturesque golden stream, making the journey almost as enjoyable as the destination itself. The waterfall appears as a graceful ribbon of water cascading down about 100 meters into a clear pool below, surrounded by vibrant vegetation and the peaceful sounds of the forest.

Visiting Love Waterfall requires paying an entrance fee to the national park area and dedicating time for the walk (allow at least 1-1.5 hours round trip plus viewing time). It's often visited together with Silver Waterfall and the O Quy Ho Pass. This attraction is perfect for nature lovers who enjoy a walk through the woods and appreciate waterfalls set within a pristine, tranquil environment, offering a delightful combination of gentle adventure, natural beauty, and romantic legend near Sapa.
