Welcome to Hanoi! Our driver will meet you at Noi Bai Airport (HAN) and transfer you to your hotel (approx. 45 mins drive). Check-in time is 2:00 PM. After settling in, our guide will meet you for an engaging 3-4 hour walking tour. Discover the vibrant Hanoi Old Quarter, stroll by Hoan Kiem Lake, and see the historic St. Joseph's Cathedral. During the walk, you'll savor authentic local food like Pho, Banh Mi, Egg Coffee, and mixed fruits, which serves as your included Lunch or Dinner today.
(Early start approx. 6:45 AM) Our driver will pick you up early from your hotel for the scenic but long (approx. 6 hours) drive to Sapa via expressway. Around 1:00 PM, meet your local Sapa guide, enjoy lunch, and check into your hotel. In the afternoon, take a short drive to Cat Cat village. Embark on a 2-hour trek (approx. 2.5 km) through the village, home to the Black H'mong ethnic minority, learning about their culture and enjoying the valley views. Enjoy dinner and overnight in Sapa town.
(Approx. 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM) After breakfast, take a short drive to the Fansipan cable car station. Enjoy a spectacular 20-minute cable car ride up the mountainside. From the upper station, you can climb approximately 600 steps or take the optional funicular train (own expense) to reach the summit of Fansipan Peak (3,143m) – the "Roof of Indochina." Take time to admire the incredible panoramic views (weather permitting). Return via cable car and head back to Sapa town for lunch and some free time to relax or explore. Between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM, say goodbye to your Sapa guide and board the van/bus for the return journey (approx. 6 hours) to Hanoi. Arrive back in Hanoi around 9:00 PM and check into your hotel.
(Approx. 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM pick up / 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM return) An early start for a full-day excursion to Halong Bay (UNESCO World Heritage site). Get picked up from your hotel for the 2.5-hour drive to the Halong Bay pier. Around 12:30 PM, board your day cruise boat and enjoy a buffet lunch as you begin sailing through the stunning karst landscape. During the cruise, participate in several activities: explore the impressive Sung Sot (Surprising) Cave on foot; choose between kayaking or taking a traditional bamboo sampan boat through the beautiful Luon Cave lagoon; and hike to the viewpoint on Titop Island for panoramic photos of the bay. Around 6:00 PM, arrive back at the harbor, board the bus, and begin the return journey to Hanoi. You will be dropped off at your hotel between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
Enjoy your final breakfast in Hanoi. This is a free and easy day until your departure. Standard hotel check-out time is 12:00 PM. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel at the appropriate time and transfer you to Noi Bai Airport (HAN) for your onward flight. Say goodbye to Vietnam!
